Learning & Development Specialist
About Us 🚀
Bridgit is a leading non-bank lender transforming the way Australians access property equity. Purpose-built to make property transactions faster and easier, we pioneered the Buy Now, Sell Later solution – empowering homeowners to unlock their property equity and move on their terms. With a simple digital application, fast approvals, and flexible loan options, we’re making property finance seamless and stress-free.
We’re now five years old and making huge strides. We have accredited over three-quarters of Australia’s broker network, and launched white label solutions with Australia’s largest aggregators – Connective, Aussie Home Loans, Finsure, and Loan Market Group – and we’re just getting started.
Our momentum has been recognised with awards such as Best Growth Story at the 2025 Fintech Awards, 2025 Finder People’s Choice Award for Lending Innovation, the finalist for Excellence in Lending (Business & Consumer) at the 2025 Finnies, Deloitte's tech fast 50 2025 and finally; being recognised as one of LinkedIn’s top 20 Start Up’s in Australia 2025.
The difference you’ll make
As our L&D Specialist, you are an architect of growth at Bridgit. You aren’t just "running training sessions" you are building the intellectual engine of a fast-scaling fintech. By designing high-impact learning journeys, you ensure our team has the knowledge, skills and confidence to disrupt the lending industry. You’ll play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between where our people are today and where they want to be tomorrow.
What you'll do:
Instructional Design: Lead the end-to-end creation of digital learning content. Use tools like Articulate Storyline/Rise to build engaging, interactive learning modules that make complex financial concepts easy to digest.
LMS Ownership: Manage implementation and rollout of a new Learning Management System. You’ll ensure training content is consistent and up-to-date, track completion rates, and use data to prove ROI of our training initiatives.
Onboarding Excellence: Work with the Head of L&D and the P&C team to evolve our onboarding program for new hires. You’ll ensure that all new starter’s learning journey’s are structured, clear and consistent, moving them from "rookie" to "expert" with speed and confidence.
Workshop Facilitation: Step into the spotlight to deliver live training workshops. You’ll be a leading face of our internal growth programs, ensuring impact, energy, and engagement are always high.
GTM Enablement: Ensure our GTM team is continuously educated on product updates, policy changes, and lending criteria by collaborating closely with Product and Credit teams.
L&D Roadmap: Work with the Head of L&D and P&C team to identify capability gaps across the business and build a curriculum that supports our rapid growth and high-performance culture.
What you’ll bring:
The L&D Toolkit: You have 3+ years of experience in a dedicated L&D or Training role. You are a wizard with Articulate (or similar authoring tool) and build engaging e-learning that people want to complete.
Agile Content Creator: You can take a rough idea or a messy SOP and turn it into a sleek, professional training module. You have a keen eye for visual design and adult learning principles.
Dynamic Facilitator: You’re comfortable "owning the room." Whether it’s a group of 5 or 50, you can facilitate training workshops that are educational and entertaining.
Proactive Problem Solver: You don’t wait for a curriculum to be handed to you. You spot a gap in team knowledge, propose a solution, and build it from the ground up.
Fintech Experience (Desirable): While not essential, if you’ve worked in Financial Services/Lending or a fast-paced Tech/Startup environment, you’ll hit the ground running. You understand the balance between compliance-heavy requirements and a "move fast" culture.
Sales Enablement Experience(Desirable): You understand the complex learning requirements of taking new products & solutions to market, and how to empower GTM teams with the knowledge & skills they need to “sell to” and service new and existing customers.
