Product Operations Associate
About Us 🚀
Bridgit is a leading non-bank lender transforming the way Australians access property finance. Purpose-built to make property transactions faster and easier, we pioneered the Buy Now, Sell Later solution – empowering homeowners to unlock their property equity and move on their terms. With a simple digital application, fast approvals, and flexible loan options, we’re making property finance seamless and stress-free.
We’re now five years old and making huge strides. We have accredited over three quarters of Australia’s broker network, and launched white label solutions with Australia’s largest aggregators – Connective, Aussie Home Loans, Finsure, and Loan Market Group – and we’re just getting started.
Our momentum has been recognised with awards such as Best Growth Story at the 2025 Fintech Awards, 2025 Finder People’s Choice Award for Lending Innovation, finalist for Excellence in Lending (Business & Consumer) at the 2025 Finnies, Deloitte’s Tech Fast 50 2025, and being recognised as one of LinkedIn’s top 20 Start Ups in Australia 2025.
The role
We’re looking for a Product Operations Associate to act as a force multiplier across all of our product squads. As we scale into mission-aligned squads with a sharp focus on ownership, speed, and quality, this role sits at the centre of Product, Technology, and Operations – reducing overhead, accelerating discovery and decision-making, and enabling our Product Managers to stay focused on roadmap delivery.
This is a high-impact, cross-functional role that suits a generalist problem-solver who moves comfortably between strategy, operations, and execution.
What you’ll do:
Own triage and issue management – intake, categorisation, and routing of product issues across Slack, LogRocket, HubSpot, and other feedback channels. Identify patterns, not just individual tickets, and drive faster resolution by connecting the right teams with the right context.
Lead tooling and vendor research – initial discovery and structured evaluation of new tools, platforms, and vendors across areas like open banking, product analytics, and BaaS infrastructure. Deliver clear outputs: options and trade-offs, commercial considerations, and a recommendation.
Support cross-squad initiatives – early-stage discovery and groundwork for strategic initiatives before formal squad ownership is established. Identify dependencies and gaps, align stakeholders, and keep things moving across Product, Tech, Sales, and Operations.
Own sprint reporting and ways of working – produce clear, consistent sprint reports across squads, and own the product team’s delivery practices: discovery frameworks, Notion documentation standards, Jira hygiene, and sprint readiness.
Generate insights and drive continuous improvement – analyse product, operational, and customer data to surface bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and automation opportunities. Provide actionable recommendations to Product and Leadership teams.
What we’re looking for:
3–4 years in product operations, business analysis, consulting, or a similar cross-functional role.
Background in technology, fintech, or a fast-paced startup environment, with exposure to agile or product-led delivery.
Strong structured thinking – you can take an ambiguous problem and turn it into a clear action plan.
Fast from unknown to recommendation: you research well, synthesise clearly, and don’t sit on findings.
Excellent stakeholder communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously without dropping threads.
Bonus points for:
Familiarity with Jira, Notion, HubSpot, or product analytics tools like LogRocket.
Experience with APIs, integrations, or open banking.
Background in consulting or strategy roles.
Exposure to mortgage lending or regulated financial services.
Our culture and benefits
Bridgit values its team – they’re the heart of how we build this business. Along with competitive remuneration, a great office in Sydney, and the chance to be part of an innovative, fast-moving fintech, we also offer:
Extra leave – birthday leave plus an additional day of paid leave for life events, celebrations, or a mental health reset.
Two weeks from anywhere – work remotely from a location of your choice for two weeks each year.
Learning and development – all team members are encouraged and empowered to engage in professional development, including internal learning initiatives.
Social events – a jam-packed social scene with events throughout the year to bring the team together.
